In Omaha Eight or Better Poker, the dealer is indicated by a dealer button. As hands are completed, the button has been passed clockwise to the next player, who is going to be the dealer for the next hand.

When the flop is finished, and in every betting round afterwards, play starts with the player left of the dealer. During the second round, bets will also be limited to the lower limit of the stake structure for bets and raises. The first player of this round is that the only one that has the option to bet, the rest of the players choose between call and increase. The dealer then deals with the fourth community card, also called the turn.
